In the activity room of the Chuk Yuen Martin Archdeacon Elderly Integrated Service Centre, the gentle aroma of coffee quietly drifted through the air. Although this "Latte Art Workshop" ran on a limited budget, it brought together a team of warm-hearted, dedicated volunteers and a group of lovely seniors, filling even the plainest of rooms with a heartwarming atmosphere.
A cup of coffee, a moment of company
Our volunteers patiently demonstrated brewing and latte-art techniques, while the seniors watched closely and tried their hand, faces lighting up with curiosity and delight. For many of them, it was the very first time they had poured latte art themselves — and that small triumph was warmer and more fragrant than any cup of coffee.
Small but genuine change
We firmly believe that coffee is more than a drink — it is a bridge that connects the warmth between people. Through community moments like these, we hope to bring care into every corner, and to help our volunteers find joy and growth through service.
